STADIA PROJECTS

Our sports grandstands and stadia buildings have evolved from our developed cycle hub structures. We supply a distinctive small sports grandstand for grass root clubs and all leagues that is an ideal 3G pitch solution for schools, clubs and public spaces. Larger bespoke stadia are also within our remit using the same design principals to create opportunities for scope beyond match day.

RAMS Rugby Club, Sonning, Reading

272 Seated Spectators for RAMS Rugby Club with High Impact Promotion for Club Sponsors and Players

The club now has a modified 4-TIER structure with the gangways set optimally and 272 spectator seats plus four special press seats with tablet tables fitted in the centre back row.

The 4-TIER structure was raised around the existing pitchside infrastructure and designed to fit between the new pitch floodlights.

An impressive high impact graphic along the panels facing the training ground shows club players in action and the main club sponsors logo. More sponsors and the club colours are promoted behind the upper row of seats within the stand, clearly visible from the car park and pitch.

For this project, we worked effectively with fabrication experts, Duncan-Lynch Precision Engineering, combining our skills to ensure an outstanding result the first time.

Leatherhead Youth Football Club, Leatherhead, Surrey

Two CURL60 buildings for Leatherhead Youth FC

The Starting Point

Both the General Manager of Leatherhead FC and club Chairman wanted to create sheltered seating for 100 people at the Leatherhead Youth Football Club ground. We worked closely with the club’s voluntary Project Manager to create the two identical CURL60 Stadia, advising on the exact locations for the best lines of sight and positioned the seating at either side of the player pitch entrance.

Some 24 teams with a total of 300 members currently use the club's facilities with an on-site development centre teaching 40 to 50 children every Saturday. The club raised some of the funds and the rest came from the Mole Valley District Council and the Football Foundation.

Points of Note: We worked alongside  S&C Slatter Ltd who were undertaking the civils and pitch renovation works.

The Godolphin Atlantic FC, Newquay, Cornwall

CURL60 Stadia for The Goldophin Atlantic Football Club

The Starting Point

Following a successful 2013 season and therefore the need to meet new FA ground grading standards, an application to The Cornwall FA was made by the Club and they were awarded a grant for new pitch lighting and a small grandstand for 60 people.

Points of Note

This building was made with the connections for a second CURL60 to be added at a future date as the club grows.

Solent University, Test Park, Southampton

Two Special Stadia for Solent University Test Park Sports Ground

The Starting Point

The university sports ground needed to upgrade their pitch facilities to grade G requirements. In this project our CURL60 has been adapted into a 50 seater mini grandstand. This meets the needs of The Football Association’s ground grade rating for the site and the available space.

Points of Note

The university opted for two buildings, firstly with red seats which were subsequently swapped for more UV stable black seats.
