Job:                     Architectural Technician or Part 2 Qualified Architect

Job Status:         Contract

Location:             Devizes, Wiltshire

H-B Designs Ltd are a small but dynamic multi-disciplinary design practice, known for their specialization in commercial and public projects that involve cycle and sports infrastructure buildings and spaces.

We are looking to recruit an Architectural Technician or Part 2 Qualifed Architect who will be responsible for project resourcing, coordination and technical output on our design and build projects.

Key Responsibilities

Working on detailed design and delivery packages, including all aspect of the client, consultant and contractor liaison.

Providing full technical design, including drawings and planning documentation.

Project resourcing, coordination and technical output.

Contract administration, calculating project costs, preparing fee schedules, and financially managing projects alongside the project manager.


You will lead the delivery of

Complex cycle hub buildings and landscape design and build

Sports grandstand and golf driving range design & build

Domestic estate development


Applicants should have proven post-qualification experience gained within an architectural practice, preferably in the UK, underpinned by the ability to manage clients coupled with a good understanding of profitability and commercial awareness. You should also be proficient in Revit, 2D, 3D Autodesk and 3D rendering packages and MS Office, and a strong communicator, both virtual and in-person, who can work collaboratively and effectively within a team.
