CYCLE PARKING TRIAL
As part of the Queens’ College Environmental Policy, the use of sustainable transport modes will be prioritised to facilitate the College’s net overall carbon footprint reduction by 50% from its 2020 level by 2030 and to net-zero by 2045.
Building on the existing high proportion of cyclists travelling to the site, the College is trialling an alternative cycle parking system to increase cycle parking capacity and improve security.
The H-B Designs Cycle-street is a high density, bike caring complete cycle parking system.
Individual bike support is provided from the patented softdock®, where you can park either your front or rear wheel depending on your basket, pannier or child seat accessories.
In addition, Cycle-street has is no metal to metal contact or risk of bikes being accidentally locked together, and the adjustable yellow locking arm can be positioned to optimally pass your bike lock through, securing both frame and wheel in one.
