Cycle and Scooter Storage Testimonial for H-B Designs
As part of the school’s ongoing travel plan we identified a need to provide cycle and scooter storage in excess of 80 places each day. We approached various companies who were only able to offer us “off the peg” solutions which did not fulfil our needs. Fortunately, we found H-B Designs. They came into school on numerous occasions to work with staff and children, coming up with a solution which was safe, practical and creative. They were very good at pointing out useful ways to secure additional funding through grants. As a result of his help we were able to get a substantial grant to cover the whole of the project.
The children are very proud of the cycle and scooter storage and it is use daily throughout the year. As well as being very practical, it is a work of art, which many visitors comment on when they come to school. It is very hard wearing and looks like the day it was erected. I am happy to recommend H-B Designs services highly.

BrightStar' WonderWall & Schoot
Installation Date: summer 2005
Installation Check Date: 19 June 2007 – Sunny day
Usage: “Wonder wall”: 72 slots – Used by 34 bikes (47%) “Schoot”: 24 slots – used by 16 scooters and 1 bike (67%) 1 bike attached to drain pipe, no adult bikes spotted. Most schoots appeared to be used by pre-school scooters. (see project case study no. 2)
SNUG BICYCLE LOCKER SYSTEM

SNUG 'The Next Generation Locker System'
SNUG is the next generation bicycle locker system and as the name suggests it not only provides the cyclist with a safe and snug niche under which to take shelter from the elements it also provides a guarded and secure location for their bicycle/s to be parked in. (see project case study no. 4)
SNUG offers many advantages over existing cycle locker systems currently available. It has been designed to have the smallest environmental footprint possible and at the same time be ultimately customisable to meet the needs of the client and their project. SNUG is economical easily transported and installed. It delivers exceptional functionality to users, is robust, space efficient and great to look at.
